Coding with Berwart
Code Generation
Ask Berwart to write code by describing what you need:
"Write a Python function that sorts a list of dictionaries by a specific key"

"This function returns None instead of the expected value. What's wrong?
def calculate(x):
result = x * 2
# missing return!"
Code Explanation
Ask Berwart to explain code you don't understand:
"Explain what this regex does: ^(?=.*[A-Za-z])(?=.*\d)[A-Za-z\d]{8,}$"

Pro Tips
Be Specific
The more context you provide, the better the response. Instead of "write code for a website", try "write a React component for a contact form with name, email, and message fields, including validation".
Use Follow-ups
Don't hesitate to ask follow-up questions. Berwart remembers the conversation context, so you can refine responses iteratively.
Ask for Formats
Request specific output formats:
- "Give me a bullet-point summary"
- "Format this as a table"
- "Provide a step-by-step guide"
- "Write this as JSON"
Request Explanations
If you don't understand something, ask for clarification:
- "Explain that in simpler terms"
- "Give me an example"
- "Why does this work?"
Iterate and Refine
First responses aren't always perfect. Ask for modifications:
- "Make it shorter"
- "Add error handling"
- "Use a different approach"
- "Include more examples"
Note: While Berwart strives for accuracy, always verify important information, especially for medical, legal, or financial matters.
